The Fire Safety Agency may obtain information about the Customer and individuals using the Application and Website, including that submitted in the course of registering to use the Application, entering into the Customer Agreement and information collected from the use of the Application and/or Website.
This information may be stored on the database as above, and it may be accessed by The Fire Safety Agency while the database is connected to the Website.
The Fire Safety Agency will not process information about individuals in the Customer Records except as the Customer's 'data processor' (as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998).
Subject to the other provisions of this clause 17, the privacy principles we apply are that unless you indicate your consent to such use during the ordering process we will not:
supply your personal data to any third parties;
use your personal data ourselves for marketing or commercial purposes; or
send you any other communication relating to this site and any other goods or services which we consider may be of interest to you.
We may use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring usage of the Website in order to help us develop the Website and the Application and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual customer.
The Customer agrees that any data, including personal data, submitted to the Website in the course of using the Application may be sent electronically to servers anywhere in the world, including those in the location of the Fire Safety Agency Ltd system. The Customer acknowledges that such locations may be outside the European Economic Area and as such the laws and regulations of such locations may not adequately protect its rights as a data subject.
We reserve the right to communicate such of your data as we hold to third parties if required to do so by law or the requirements of any regulatory or other authority.
If all of the business and/or assets of The Fire Safety Agency (or substantially all of them) are acquired by a third party, we may transfer personal data we then hold to that party.
The Fire Safety Agency Limited will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure but unless the Fire Safety Agency Limited is negligent, Fire Safety Agency Limited will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
